It is NOT supported on any release before 19.16. It is also not supported on DB21c. It is supported on DB23ai. It is supported on-prem or in cloud. Later DBRU releases come with additional features for MS-EI (was Azure AD).

Yes - Supported on DB19c (at least DB19.16) and 23ai (all editions, all platforms except ExaCC, ExaDB-XS). It is not supported on DB21c. There should be no technical issues with those 2 platforms that don't officially support it, it just needs to complete testing/documentation.
