Do you want to know how to add multi-factor authentication (MFA) using push notifications and Auth0 Guardian? Well, you're in luck! In this video, I will walk you through setting up Auth0 Guardian MFA in your Auth0 tenant.
Not sure what Auth0 Guardian even is?
It's a mobile app that can deliver push notifications to a user’s pre-registered device (typically a mobile phone or tablet) from which a user can immediately allow or deny account access. It can also generate one-time passwords instead of integrating with each vendor-specific push notification service if that method is preferred.

Can on 2FA based on user setting . Like Through API we can enable 2FA for particular user.

Can you use other apps such as the Microsoft authenticator instead of the Guardian app?

It should work :) From the Microsoft docs: > If you have non-Microsoft accounts, such as for Google, Facebook, or GitHub, you can add them to the Microsoft Authenticator app for two-step verification. The Authenticator app works with any app that uses two-step verification and any account that supports the Time-based One-time Password (TOTP) standards Please let us know if you have any issues getting it to work. If I copy the recovery code on my device and always use that to login. Purpose of MFA derailed! am I correct?
