How badly should I panic about trying to clean under the the ‘overlap’ of the top piece…and should I assume if lots of obvious stuff is coming out there is a mold issue behind it??? 😱

I'm installing this shower and it didn't come with the back leg support. Even if it did, isn't mortar supposed to go under the shower to keep it solid/sturdy? I noticed in the beginning the "materials needed" said mortar.

I Highly recommend NOT using the Sharkbite fittings. They are junk and will leak
