i did this with a lyons shower and the floor cracked in a year. the manufacturer sent me a new shower and surround and recommended putting sand/cement underneath. be nice if they had a video of that.

Same thing happened to me. They sent a new one and we used mortar under it this time. Literally finishing up install this week
