Multi Purpose Drywall Tape - Strait Flex

All of my 45's are starting to come loose. Cant remember if I used light taping mud or hot mud, but professionals now tell me to add glue when using this product, as its not very wide and lets go easily.

Any serious replys would be appreciated, I'm. Looking at basically the same type of angles as well. I was wondering if I could calk the joints first to fill the larger gaps first to (try and create) a better platform to start tapeing from after the calk has cured. I'm a newbie this might sound stupid to some people I'm sorry for that, I'm just looking to do a good job. As I said I'm not a pro, just trying to work in budget the best way possible the first time. I’ve seen a video from Vancouver carpenter and other drywall DIY add wood glue or mud glue into bottle of water, shake the mid and add it to the mud for added adhesive to the mud. I haven’t used straight flex yet but all my joints and corner beads are strong. Oh and I’ve used plus 3 as taping mud

hot mud is fine for them, i always use spray glue and the ultra thin fiberglass tape ( says ultra thin on package, can buy it at home depot and lowes) to the outside edge to prevent corner pops. You can also use corner bead spray glue which is what i do, it's super strong and they wont pop. They sell glue u can add to your hot mud, but most mud has it already I wouldn't waste the money on the glue just use spray glue.

yeah it does, i always add glue to mine. I never get to use all day mud, 5 and 20 for taping homes for my company.

If I may.... that stuttering mixing technique is no good..... think of it like drag racing.... hold onto the wheel and punch it out, and work on the steering as ya tear down the road.
