The reason the male lead is a wimp because his mother is a useless waste who will allows herself and her son to be bullied or beating to death just to please bunches of rich snobs who she willing to throw away what little dignity she have to try and force her son to marry a nasty and viscous woman for money. To be honest the male lead was learning to stand up for himself and not allow himself to be bullied and pushed around but he went back being a wimp the moment his parents shows up and he allows his useless mother pushing around and making decisions for him so because of his mother, others sees him as a easy pray to bullied.

Among all the dramas where the price devaluate, this one has the worst scripting in terms of logic.. the slapping made the artist over acting, and the scene became trash.. everything is approved by the director, so i conclude that the director has poor directing skill.. sorry for being honest
