Wow, it looks great. The characters look realistic. The animations look good. I think they might lack emotions. There are no face expressions when they kiss, talk, shove unless that's your intention. Some glitches like walking up on the stairs. The environment, etc look nice too. Next year? I already added it to my wishlist months ago. Can't wait for this game, Life by You and Paralives. 😊

@@Ozileen just because you can play single player doesn't mean playing it will feel nice, it could feel hollow. when the trailer delves into gameplay, it focuses on multiplayer and build mode. they don't elaborate on single player as much as multiplayer, so i can see where fslushies' concern stems from. if it is mostly build mode for single player, then that's not really a life simulator. that's a building simulator.

Yeah, if it's only filled with players or whatever if you do multiplayer, I won't be interested. I liked The Sims because I could play all on my own, I have games I can do multiplayer with, so I'd need to know more about single player. What is gameplay like without the friends playing, too?

@@BooDotBoo I am afraid these sims type games completely lost touch with what made these games great 20 years ago. I still find Sims2 more lifelike and inviting then wtf ever EA or the others seem to fail to deliver. TS4 is basically building for nothing while this game seem the same, build an online lobby where you can fart around with friends. If I need this then I rather play VR chat or even Grarry's Mod that had custom lobbies / housing 15 years ago .... f all this, if you want to bring out a game in 2023+ it better live up to the current era of tech. This feels like a tech demo of that is more lacking then TS2 base game ... ok it seem to have open world but that is it, what do we actually do in this empty space?!

Looks promising but I hope the facial animation will improve a bit to make it more immersive. Another feature I see is coloring but need a material and theme editing aswell to put different styles on objects which was available in sims 3 and in my opinion it is a must have to any newcomer life simulator. The moddability if it will be available also can be done by blueprints if the game is built in unreal engine. Just few hints otherwise looks great!

People dumped on Life By You but saying this looks good when it looks like the first trailer of LBY? Before they built upon it. I'm all for competition for the sims and any other games to keep quality up and stop any one company from having the monopoly and getting lazy aka sims aka gta and so forth. But- people need to keep a consistent opinion and so far it's looking weird hating on one game but loving one that looks far more basic and stuff- at this stage.

Though the characters look good, I noticed the men in this video, all looked exactly the same, like clones, like Avatars, like Second Life! Mean premade Avatars that all look the same and you just play with them, and maybe you MIGHT be able to customize them, but you must pay extra for that, like in Second Life! This is the first I have heard of this one, though it does sound like one that was shown a few times since last year and is also on Steam, but that had not much to it, just a trailer and no one narrating it like in this! It just looks like some combined The Sims and Second Life, the real difference I see from SL is that you can play with more then one character, but then that's just probably a real life person playing in the same household with someone else, right? I would love this, IF it wasn't really mostly about multiplayer or single player but ALWAYS online, which again is more like Second Life with a The Sims twist! So no thank you, I have played SL about 4 or 5 years ago, and didn't enjoy it, so don't think I will be enjoying any online always life sim! If you have no one to play with you, then you have to try and make friends, and most everyone on these types of games are like Second Life, are just looking to hook up with someone, even if it's just online only! I am sure some people will like it, but I don't see it being any kind of competition for The Sims, more like for maybe Second Life! I will wait instead for another realistic looking life sim, that is also coming out on early access next year, in fact March 5th 2024 to be precise, Life By You! Life By You isn't a online or multiplayer game, it's similar in visuals to this one, but the people don't look like clones of each other, because everything you need to create your characters is already going to be in the game, so no having to buy clothes and hair and even a different facial parts or skins, like in Second Life, and probably this one too!
