Multiple arrested at pro-Palestine protest in Texas including FOX 7 photographer | LiveNOW from FOX

Hundreds of students walked out of class at the University of Texas at Austin Wednesday to rally for Palestine and attempt to occupy the South Lawn on campus.
The UT students gathered on the South Lawn and set up tents while chanting "Free Free Palestine" and other slogans, including ones aimed at the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and even Austin police.
Protesters are calling for a ceasefire between the Israeli forces and Hamas, as well as an end to what they call the occupation of Palestine.

We don't know the situation by which his child was arrested. There was no video footage of the event where his kid was taken away. Oftentimes when police show up they just start grabbing people and making arrests, like what happened to the photographer. How do you know the man's kid was engaged in wrongdoing? He explained that the police were also blocking exits, how do you know his kid wasn't trying to leave as instructed and got caught in the chaos? You are making an assumption without evidence . ... What was the reason and charge for the arrests? Clearly, they arrested only a small portion of the protesters; were they chosen at random, or based on actions which crossed over from peaceful protest into crime? Or did they refuse a lawful order - which crosses over from protested protest to criminal civil disobedience (albeit sometimes righteous, still illegal), with the normal consequences of civil disobedience? I don't want to have any judgement until I know more about the context of the arrests. I strongly defend peaceful protest, but I do not grant it the right to break laws without consequences.
