Hi guys! Welcome to our (new) channel! We’re the Cryptid System and we were diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder in April of 2020. We’ve been sharing our recovery and journey online but took a break for our mental health to focus on recovery alone. Now we’re back and making vlogs to share our experiences with others!
Thanks for watching and supporting us 💕
Hopefully we’ll see you in the next video!

I also have FND and PNES, and most of us are in still pretty deep in denial about probably having DID too. But it's so nice to come across your channel and watch someone who I'm able to relate to so much! Subscribed and looking forward to seeing more of your content :)

Hey Moth! I feel like I have also been the part responsible for getting through the depression. For the last several months I feel like this. It's every day trying to find something to keep us occupied. To keep the thoughts away. Not locked out of the system, and not really ignoring them but not really interacting. Mostly out of not knowing who I am, and not knowing what to say. Anyway we're glad to see you guys coming back and making content whatever it may be. I'm sure you guys have a lot planned and we're excited to follow along.

This is weirdly similar to my experiences but to my knowledge I'm not a system per se. Definitely have grey outs and definitely have different 'versions' of me or parts that feel similar but have different feelings on situations. Thankyou for posting, I'm going to think about this more

Beautiful, love it I'm greatful you're alive and are able to take care of yourselves. DID is a difficult, stressful and horrific thing that can make you feel crazy (not to say the c word it isn't about that ) I want you and your system to know you are great, you deserve to be alive and hopefully you all know that we as a community involved in the DID systems/community etc we are here for you and we are grateful to have your journey :)

So proud to see how far you’ve come! Keep on going! I’m intrigued cause I know you’re an amazing artist, what are you taking in school? I’m truly happy you’re finally out of the situation, healing in the past year with a therapist, groups etc. That gives me hope that things do improve- we’ve come a long way as well but sometimes we have moments of self-doubt, wondering if it’s ok to be “””””””Normal”””””” and go to school and such. We already have two BA degrees however not in the field we really want to be in so we intended to return to school, just need to get our health back on track then we would be good to go! Our mental health has improved tremendously, we are now going to be starting on Trauma therapy (we did process some traumas through dialectal therapy but no intense focus):. We will be doing EMDR so that will be huge. Anyways! So happy for you and looking forward to your journey. 😊🤟🏼💛

im taking gen ed and art classes to get a fine arts major! I'm super excited to refine my art abilities and learn more. my first class im taking is art orientation and then also one called two dimensional design, and I can't wait to start. I've heard good things about EMDR, but also that it's very intense and for DID needs to be taken very slowly and carefully. I really hope you find it helpful! I'm happy for you too

@@cryptidink that sounds truly exciting! I’m so excited for you and look forward to how your art progresses! Hopefully you’ll share that with us on KZbin or other platform if you have. Yes, we are treading very carefully with EMDR, we have been stabilizing for 3.5 years and we are ready to get head on to it because the career we are pursuing is pretty tough - first nursing then get in medical school. And of course! We are glad to support your channel. Happy new year to you all! 💛🤟🏼

The body is 25 and all of the hosts are in their 20s. Blaine is 23, james is 23-25, moth is 24/25 ish, andria is 21-23 ish. Its kind of hard to tell how old an alter is based on their feelings lol

PNES is really scary especially when youre first diagnosed. The most important thing is to recognize your stressors and limit them as well as taking lots of time for self care and emotional regulation. I really hope youre able to heal. I know how stressful PNES is

@@cryptidink Identifying specific stressors has been the hardest part. Some days, we got it. Other days it's like, WHY did that trigger a seizure wtf? 👀 -René
@cryptidink
@cryptidink 6 ай бұрын
@@IlluminaDID sometimes we noticed its not even bad stressors there are “good” stressors too- like being too excited and fan girling about a fave band of ours sent us into a seizure once because of the adrenaline spike. You can also try and find your “tells” like the feeling you get before a seizure to try and help destress before it hits to prevent it from being too long.

I thought of pos culprits. Adrenaline and insulin resistance have a lot in common. They have similar side affects and stressors for a lot of other nervous system disorders. Eliminating foods with sugar, which spikes insulin can help keep adrenalin from spiking or at least not as much. Hope that can help lighten the load. Depending on the amount of sugar that's in the foods.
