I live in eastern Ky. , and the area that I live in produced iron for many years. We have a historic furnace within 5 miles that is being restored. Those things are truly amazing. I know of 3 furnaces within about an 8 mile radius. Thought I would pass it along. Have a good evening...

Yes, that was a great interview, very interesting. The old post office is a cool building. Its hard to imagine right in that area your standing and living a war took place and things were destroyed and people were killed. Must have been a crazy time.

You live in a very historical area. We ride in your area almost every weekend. My grandfather owned the marina in port Deposit in the early 70s but was washed away from Agnes. I really enjoy the small boardwalk they built in Havre De Grace from the promenade. It explains how the patriots tied chains across the rivers and as the British sent small boats out to cut the chain the sharpshooters would just keep shooting them from the shore. Very nice area.

I'm surprised that you don't wear any PPE while using your chainsaw - not meant as a slam - just an observation. I was looking through some old family photos and I do believe as a child we visited the furnace (my father was a history buff) and we traveled many historical sights on the east coast. Stay safe.

Great video. I upgraded skid loaders so I could load bigger logs. Especially with my tree service. Less cutting and more loading speeds up the whole process.

Big logs are worth more in lumber than firewood just saying, also less time efficient & cost efficient as they take longer to process vs 16-20" diameter poles
