@@rogeeproductions2509 The unit I like is way out of my league, I have been looking at the "triggercam 2.1" myself. My gear is one good rifle & scope (drop chart stuck on the stock), a medium-priced set of rangefinder bino's and a thermal spotter with built in rangefinder and I travel very light, I have as I'm 71 😀.

Too many deer in areas of the South Island as well. Back in the day commercial ground hunters, part-time and full-time, had the numbers under control. Nice looking farmland, plenty of stock-feed. Interesting breakfast option Rogee. My go-to is 1/2 cup Hubbards Keto, 1/2 cup Pro-Nutro, handfull sultanas, 4 tsp milk powder, all bagged-up into individual meals. Gives about 3015 KJ, 28g Protein, 34g Fat, 65g Carbs.

Great opportunity there Rogge...it reminds me of clean-up hunts we had in Texas...they were to remove poor genetics from the stock...Occasionally, the State would open parks to thin herds...the animals harvested were almost always donated to food banks and homeless charities...
