Very enlightening! My houseplant duieffenbachia almost reached the ceiling, I circled the stems around the tree and back into the soil creating new fullness and growth. The stem roots keep popping up and the tree leaning with heavy leaves everywhere. This bushy plant is being held with bark and coconut stakes. I really didn't want to create more little plants everywhere, but its a great give away idea. Thanks for the video.

I am gong to cut one stalk and propagate it the way you have shown here. I hope to get dozens of baby dieffenbachias. Of the numerous videos I have watched on the subject, yours was the clearest and easiest to understand. I also like that you showed that laying the stalks either vertical or horizontal works just as well. You got a new subscriber for this one!

Wow, such a timely and informative video. I just bought a 'bargain' priced dieffenbachia and when I came home the plant was not as nice as I thought. Held up by a stick I the soul and leaves trimmed. Now I know that I have not wasted my money and can have a few more plants next year from this one. One question, why did you plant a couple stems verticle and others horizontal? The growth in 3 months is actually unbelieveable. Did you have the pots in a shaded part of tour garden? I subscribed, loves tour coriander video also.

excellent video, I took a stem cutting from my parents and planted it vertical, after 3 months I have 1 full leaf on 1 side with another coming out right beside, but on the other side about an inch growing from the eye but stopped, I wish I would have planted horizontally because it seems I'm going to have an unbalanced plant? I thought both eyes would have grown at the time instead of 1 leaf at a time.
