The Shoeller family is the best family. Jon and Rhianna are such awesome parents to Tyanna. They are navigating this situation so well. I see their documentation of this experience becoming the example for fostering/ adopting in the future. The love is real❤❤❤🥰🥰

If you knew Jon and Rhianna, you would know that they are great parents, and they truly love their daughter. There should not be any insecurities. Rhianna, Jon, I want you to know that Tyana will thank you one day for loving her and raising her. As a 69 year old black woman raised by my grandmother after the death of my parents, Thank you for truly loving and protecting Tyana. Truly Thank You.🙏

The Schoeller family very loving family, very loving couple, you can see how much they love the baby girl! Tyanna really bless to have this couple, the couple really bless to have her too. We can see the love of each other in this family, not the color , but the love they shared to each other.

Love this talk. I’m in my 50’s now am black and was adopted by incredible caring white parents. Born in 1970 and was one of the first adopted in Chicago. We were even on a talk show that I hiccuped through the whole thing. I definitely went through my struggles probably because of genetics as well as bad choices. Now I am now getting to know my biological family due to 23 and me. I’m addicted to the Schoeller family and will continue to watch your show as well. Thank you for shedding light on this topic.

Very Good interview. I love this family. I have seen most of their videos. They are great Parents to her. I don’t necessarily see color with them as parents and child who is a different color than they are. I see nothing but love and 3 people that are connected. They have done an amazing job exposing her to different cultures and places around the world. Seems like she has thought of things to prepare herself and the child for the future. ❤

One big question you didn't ask! I was curious to see if they would be open to adopting another child. I have an adopted child and looking back I wish that I had found a way of adopting more children. As the saying goes, "an only child is a lonely child!" My son had close cousins that helped to fill that void. My son wasn't a foster child, though I was a foster parent at the time. It was before President Bill Clinton change laws that made it possible for these children to have the opportunity for stable and loving homes. Thank you gir a great interview!

I know this may sound strange Rihanna, but I think that you and John may find that Tianna will probably not give y’all the grief you may expect in the future. It’s just something very special and different about Black kids. They tend to be way more appreciative and respective.

Rhianna said something that i have seen first hand and im sure its really confusing for a child of color with two white parents if never even spoken about. My ex-husband and his wife had a son that turned out to be brown. How you ask? Well she had an affair obviously but didn't realize that she had gotten pregnant from the affair. She was hoping she was pregnant frim her husband. Anyway, he looked different and when he was old enough to realize it he started to ask questions. She told him that he was darker because her father was full blooded Indian. Thats what she told my ex husband also. One day a knock on the door changed everything. A woman came ti the house asking to see her nephew. Thats when the truth came to light. Im sure it was very confusing for him until thst point so i agree with Rhianna that things need to be discussed with the child openly and honestly from the beginning. It could mess the child up psychologically if they know and feel like they are different and don't understand why.

To be fair, I don't like open adoption. I think it confuses the child. Yes, I hear that the more the love, the better, whatever, but personally, I think it divides the focus of the child on who to love more, or who to listen to more etc. It also makes them ponder secretly on whether it will be better to be with the other person; which might make them deviant. But then again, I'm African and we hardly adopt. We just take care of everyone's child without any government formalities. And we insist they go to their birth family during school holidays and return when school reopens. At one point, my dad was single-handedly taking care of about 8 kids (which is normal in Africa. Some people even "adopt" more). Overall, I think my father took in about 20 or more kids. And they all knew their bio family. But the kids hardly remember who took care of them, they just go back to their birth family when they are older. But it's become a part of us since generations. We don't care. We don't even think about it.

Why don't you invite Chantashia and listen to her side of the story? All information has been obtained already and the validity of the information has been detected and proven, what are these information from Ms Rhianna as she is indicating as her biological family? Ms Rhianna kindly tell the public what Chantashia;s husband looks like and how he allowed for adoption? What country does Chantashia and her husband hail from?
