I watched my uncle catch five Rock bass on Canada Trip that were as big as a five gallon bucket lid. I got fed up and got up to move to his end of the boat. He picked up an oar and threatened to knock me out the boat. I was 14 so I listened. I did hook one from the end of the boat farthest from the brushpile and it still took me into the brush and snagged. World record was caught here. Can use a jitterbug in pitch dark for some slabs too.
