Patch Note:: Der Novation Peak spielt ein Patch das von unserer Katze stammt. Eingestellt war ein Pad Sound, allerdings beschloss unsere Prinzessin ein kleines Nickerchen auf dem Peak zu machen. Nachdem sie wieder aufgestanden war hatte sie die Regler dermaßen verstellt daß aus dem Pad Sound ein metallischer Klang geworden war der mich sehr an Windbells erinnert. Hab ich gleich abgespeichert und hört man immer wieder das Stück durch ...

Thanks, Ben - did you notice that the bass plays the same note for 20 minutes? (an "E" and the chords all somehow relate to "E": Ej7 - Aj7 - Cj7 - F#m7 - B7sus)

@@HansiModular Yes, indeed I became aware of the bass "pedal tone". Such tonal anchors work very well, exactly because the harmonic progressions are all correlated to the tone. It is not a new thing to do but when correctly performed (like you did) it is works wonders. That's why "regular" listeners maybe don't "notice" or become aware of such. Music is always rewarding when it is aligned harmonically. Unfortunately (or maybe not) along our lives, our brain was (flooded with) trained to appreciate more determined harmonic intervals but like we use to say, music does not have rules or borders, (yet it does). I like your composition style. We need more ethereal ambient soundscapes so our imagination can fly. We are curious beings and only the capacity to dream keeps us really alive and interesting.
