I feel like Hangry Man became his best perk now that they nerfed the giant sandwich so much (you don't keep rage, it doesn't apply weakened and it does a lot less damage). Also you can't use normal attacks while holding the sandwich anymore, and it was situational to begin with. Hangry Man gives you much more rage uptime and is more consistent value, personally, it's better to have perks that give you less value that is consistent.

Shaggy main here (been playing since beta). I just wanted to add the fact that I personally think Hangry man is the better perk because you can get his rage more consistently, and having more rage uptime is crucial with him. Last Stand is a really good perk for snowballing stocks when you apply weakened, but you need to be careful, because it can cause a weird bug with his rage up special. It's still a net positive because it makes your neutral play that much better, and you can use it to turn games around or to snowball stocks when above 100 damage.

@@henryR2006 pre-Hangry man nerf, it was too situational to use the super sandwich. Also, all his rage specials except for the rage Neutral B break armor anyways. Now, the perk got nerfed so it's not enough of a benefit to be worth running, but at the time of making that comment it was true. Also, you are still better off using regular specials instead of the sandwich (especially because Wonder Woman's ground side B can delete projectiles such as the giant sandwich).

So glad to have Multiversus back in my game rotation! Really good Shaggy guide - your how to play guides are the best in the MV community (in my opinion) because they go in depth enough to pick the character up, but still short enough to not feel daunting to watch. I've been having a lot of luck catching people with his side special by dragging the attack up or down to catch people who think they're safe. What are the odds you could do a Finn video?

Because the beta was all about speed, now you have to play the neutral and be an opportunist. Like you can't do the crazy stuff we could back then, so you need to play more defensive and punish whiffs instead (he has some insane kill combos to do this).
