I live in scranton all my life. The extras are spot on! The landfill is DeNaples land fill. It's about 10 miles long. In dunmore PA, 5 miles from scranton! From the stickers and calenders, stuff in vending machine. Spot on.

First, I must say, you have a great channel here, I just discovered it today and have watched it for hours. Personally, I think Season 6 is a huge stepback from seasons 4 and 5. It's not THAT evident: there's the series we all love, the fast paced jokes, etc, but in this season there's not a clear direction at all. So the series mostly delivers short plotlines in single episodes. I tend to assume that the foggy behind-the-camera tension produced by the search for a new direction with a new team became visible on the screen by the inclusion of elements such as Jo Benett/Sabre. They bring an overall dramatic tone that contrasts with season 4 and 5 plotlines. Those 2 earlier seasons were mostly carried by Jim and Pam romance, so maybe the exploration of this new on-screen dramatic tone was to favor some sort of structure and/or cohesive quality to the series after they got married, in order to facilitate plots of a new kind, etc, but most of what happened tended to be of little importance in the long term. Jim and Pam having babies was a given. Erin and Andy was maybe the most important thing. At best, the tension element served for the staff to form teams about interpersonal conflicts, like in the leads episodes. At worst it left a sense of unsolved tension or even the start cartoonish behavior of seasons 8 and 9. For me, the best of this season is not a plotline, it's a character: Erin. She blossomed and was a plus until the very end. Seasons 6 and 7 are funny, but the lacking of direction in s6 and s7 being almost exclusively fan service, made the series begin to end. In this sense The Office it's similar to Community. Their downfall began way before it became too evident

I love this show. Every episode and every season for one reason or another. Murder is by far the best episode in this season. I couldn't agree with you more about the independent character study while everyone deals with the same calamity. It makes for one of the best episodes of The office ever. Let's put it like this. As much as I love this show, when I have the entire series on random repeat, there are episodes that I skip over for one reason or another. A lot of the time it's just because I have recently seen that episode. But I never skip over murder. Never.

In my opinion, the wedding dance scene is not heartwarming at all. Super-excited Stanley is only one of many examples of characters being out of their personalities. That throws me off completely. And what do they do? They enter the church a bunch on times. Were they getting out from the back and running to the entrance a bunch of times? How can Kevin do that? They tried so hard that they destroyed the logics of the series universe completely. That has always been a 0 out of 5 stars to me.

Love this show. Love this season. But, I’ll watch Scotts tots or any other “cringey” moment any day over the wedding dance sequence. By far one of my least favorite scenes in the entire series. I know it isn’t the popular opinion but there’s no way I’m alone in hating that scene right? One of the corniest things I have ever seen. Even the tik tok corn kid knows that’s too much corn.
