Thanks for uploading, you cannot find good videos like yours anywhere on the internet and that's what so good about osfirsttimer. When I wanted flash on my mac it was too expensive. So I found this and by watching this video I actually found out how to use it

In this episode I tried to mix the concept of the original series in a little with the new series. Not only does she try out 2D animation but we give the operating system a bit of a showcase as she explores it a little and actually has to download the software to do the animation in the video. What do you guys think of this approach? The goal is to still focus on exploring operating systems but make it less repetitive than the original 5 tasks by exploring a new advanced task each episode.

I think Diana HAS to use Photoshop now. Maybe get a picture with her and someone else from your family and the task could be: swap your and the others head with eachother and add one item to the scene (search pictures online)

***** No, Small Basic, its not really a fully-fledged programming language, its just a easy to use program where you can write your own programs etc Hello world!. Calculators. Animations. Example line of code to write hello world: TextWindow.Writeline("Hello World!") Although, i dont think it can count as a programming language since it can only do small(no pun intended) tasks. I would recommend QBASIC or Pascal.

Probably Nickelodeon, as 2013 was when their OS looked like Mac and it does mention 🍐 a few times in specific programs, although, I have noticed that Dan Schneider is the executive producer of all of the shows that use the pear operating system.

20:20 - There actually is an open source vector animation package that does tweening pretty awesomely: Synfig. However, it's not exactly a polished program right now and it's certainly not newbie friendly. Requires some head-wrapping-aroundness. (oh, and of course there's Blender, but it's a 3D package and getting decent 2D stylishness out of it requires even more expertise and fiddling...) Still, cool to see Pencil 2D too in real world!
