Hope you guys loved watching Diana speak Japanese from 12:20 - 15:30! Anyway, just letting you know that there won't be an OSFirstTimer video next week due to both Kitchen renovations starting as well as me doing more editing for a Sydney Fitness company. With that being said the next few months may be a bit rocky due to kitchen renovations and bathroom renovations, but hopefully you guys will see a video of tasmaZia (a hedge maze in tasmania) on sunday (will be filmed saturday hopefully). I randomly hurt my left ankle yesterday (didn't bump/twist or anything, just started hurting randomly) so I've been unable to walk today and yesterday. Hopefully that clears up tomorrow so I can film the maze video on osft vlogs tomoz :D

When Wikipedia became a thing you were downmarked for using it because it could not, still can not be verified. You had to back it up with proper sources or at least confirm and mention the ones that Wikipedia relied on (at the time).

@@dlarge6502You’re technically not supposed to cite _any_ encyclopedia, wiki or not, because encylopedias are tertiary sources. People just say that Wikipedia is untrustworthy because that’s easier to explain to kids than the real reason is.

In 1999 I was 5 or 6 years old and I remember to beign introduce into this computing stuff by my aunt (who was a software engineer) she introduced me into the digital world with this encarta 98 , I felt like the most futuristic and smart kid in the world , I can't believe that these things exist actually.... jajaja omg I miss these days of the past 90's and the 2000 ... without Internet, until the 2000 when the Internet came to México as a private service, our national telecommunications enterprise, came with the Internet service for the general public, internet in mexico are reserved to enterprises and universities, as a beta learning and communications system of teaching and business... I remember the first time I have acces to Internet in 2001 I was 7 or 8, and I can't bealive when that window opens in my computer, my aunt and I where looking at this screen for 2 minutes like ... OK who's next? I mean I knew that she uses a private network on her work but this is the first public network, opened to possibilities... I mean my first 1 hour of Internet was like ... what's this the Web pages are so amazing, images, texts information, acces to a window of things that I never imagine to have in hand ... acces to ask the Internet what I need to know and beign answered by the searching motors , like yahoo our favourite back then and msn, we prefer yahoo.. jajaja but... lots of information, art, history, culture... lots of new facts to learn ... modern kids doesn't understand that feeling of seeing yourself so dumb and cool at the same time because they born with Internet at their hands, us the old young adults the 2000 kids discover Internet... in another way... by the experience.... it was a raw Internet, now Internet is easy intuitive ... I miss those days, I remember when I finished my first Internet navigation session and asked my aunt, what is this ? She answer me , the future ..... anyways in 2001 I'm still going to my local library to doing research for homework, remember Internet is edited by people so ... Wikipedia never be a sure option to search information, amd back then the official pages have not all the information and support that they have these days ... Internet was a support option back then the beta of the information technologies...
