I really admire Diana's ideas about usability and efficiency. A programmer should minimize the number of steps a user has to take to complete an operation. The steps should be as obvious as possible. Otherwise you're just wasting the user's time and making her life harder, when the whole point of a computer is to make life easier. As a programmer myself I can say that programmers are very bad at creating usable software. But it is not easy to do. You have to do user acceptance testing, which is exactly what these videos are. However, on the programming side, TempleOS has some great ideas about code efficiency and transparency.
