Enjoying Unlimited Gujarati Thali in Mumbai in this food vlog. I love Gujarati food - whether its Undhiyu, Gujarati snacks like Moong Dal Kachori, Khaman or Gujarati Kadhi with Khichdi - this was a very simple, homestyle but enjoyable meal and I loved their ala carte menu especially Dadima Nu Khichu, Baingan ka Bharta with Bajra Rotla and Dahi vada. Mango Shrikhand, Aamras Puri and Gulab Jamun were awesome. If you are in a group and want to try out a Gujarati thali in Mumbai alongwith chaats and ala carte menu, then this place is worth a try. Obviously, you can not finish all the dishes placed on the table. Therefore, it will look more decent to use a separate empty dish to take a small portion that you wish to taste. It looks odd if a lot of dishes are directly used to have a bite. This will waste food.

All these food KZbinrs from India seem to not give a damn about food wastage. Also her review surprises me. So many items, what more do you even need on one plate? Is there any thought for the labor intensive process of making all this food? Just because labor is cheap in India and you can afford to get these services you have zero value for them and take it for granted. If you ever step outside of India and want this thali, they will charge you an arm and a leg for it.

आमरस पुरी आपली पण आवडती डिश आहे. दरवेळी एप्रिल मे महिन्यात फक्त आंबा व पोळी, पुरी असते घरी. बटाटा पण तुंम्ही म्हणालात तसा जास्त शिजवून आला की टेस्ट चव वेगळीच लागते. नेहेमी प्रमाणे चांगला व्हिडीओ. पुण्यात आलात की भेटू जमलं तर.. 🎉

In Khichu , usually Peanut Oil is added, and not Ghee !!! With ghee , khichu's taste will be totally different than peanut oil. I would like to this place.

You can easily guess that the cameraman is always there. Sometimes we get our family or the editor too. We eat as much as we can and pack the ones from which I have tried just 1 spoon for review

Your reviews are good. I request you to add background music as per the thali style (Gujrati folk music for gujrati restaurant etc). Also you may wear matching dress. Another request is to add estimated food values (calorie, protein content, fat content, vitamin and minerals etc). Finally please add quality index on various dimensions such as ambience, service, freshness, taste, authenticity, hygiene, interior, pricing and cosmopolitan nature (if the food is ok for a person from different culture, elderly, kids etc) of the place. Also please mention if there is ramp for wheelchair.

Authentic Gujarati thalis never used to serve chole and paneer during our days.i m a 70 year old Gujarati Brahmin from Bhavnagar. Thalis in the past included different pulses like chowli, big n small,brown desi chana, moong and math sprouts,Vaal etc.Chole and paneer are punjabi dishes.why in Gujarati thali??

You are correct. These are Punjabi dishes but nowadays included in all types of thalis like Gujarati, Maharashtrian and South Indian Thali. I think because mostly people like to eat these foods so to meet their preferences, chhole and paneer are included.
