This is my Mumbai vlog (part 1) with Legendary favorites! Included the best Gujarati thali in Mumbai, iconic cafes that have been a part of my early adult life and some wedding shopping hubs! Hope you enjoy!
It’s been a few months since I relocated but I deeply miss the city's energy, the iconic eateries, and the vibrant streets. #mumbaifood #bestofmumbai #vlog
Now it is difficult to choose from the rich culinary flavours of Mumbai yet I narrowed it down to some of my favourite ones. And savouring traditional South Indian food at Café Madras & indulging in delicious cafe food at Subko & Candies reinstated the spirit of Mumbai back in me! A breezy walk exploring the Artsy lanes on Chapel Road reminded me that the Bandra by-lanes, the dreamy cafes, vintage houses are a different side of this fast-paced city, and a must-visit to come across such hidden gems. But what really reminded me of my love for Mumbai were the huge shopping markets and massive stores selling a variety of things.
And of course, no visit to Mumbai would be complete without a stop at one of the old & legendary restaurants. My personal favourite is Shree Thaker Bhojanalay in Kalbadevi and Dynasty in Santacruz. Both the places hold a special place in my heart for their delicious food and my cherished memories. Especially the #Unlimited thali from Shree Thaker Bhojanalay satisfied all my cravings for chaat, farsaan, namkeen and Authentic Gujarati food!

Madras café is totally hyped and expensive. A sort of fusion between Udupi and typical Kumbakonam/ Tanjore type of snacks. Thakkar Bhojanalay…yes one great gujju khatiawaadi thaali place..Mumbai can boast about. Otherwise Mumbai takes a beating these days when it comes to authentic decent reasonable South Indian food.
