I strongly believe that IR or CR should introduce Durantos on Mumbai - Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore sector having maximum 4-6-8-10 halts like Durantos of WR(Bikaner,Jaipur,Indore,Delhi Durantos).It will save lots of time in travelling of passengers.

Durrantos are already stopped . Only VB sleeper will replace all Durranto, Shatabdi and Rajdhani. But these donkey trains like Cholan, Uzhavan, LTT Kovai, like trains will never be replaced because it will result in public outcry. These trains will soon be dummified as ordinary express with SF tags by introducing faster and high fare VB sleeper trains. Latest example of dummfied SF is vaigai exp in favour of VB and also MS Mysore shatabdi neutralized by VB with same time. Next in line to be zeroised is Pune Secunderabad Shatabdi by a VB.

Even after donkey s years except for Mumbai Bangalore is well connected with both fast and slow trains to each and every nook and corner of India. I really don't understand what is the mafia or Hypocrisy shown by IR in this regard. Nobody has ever mentioned about track upgradtion or route development in each and every railway budget. Bangalore has really suffered and suffering because of Hypocrisy or Stepmotherly attitude by SR which used to control most of Karanataka added with Laid Back attitude of Politicians and Citizens of Especially South Karnataka.

@@vasanths7805 Tragedy of both SR and SWR is mumbai being commercial capital and high revenue earner and both Bangalore and Madras has no faster train connect with mumbai and real donkeys like Udyan, Egmore LTT exp etc. Funnily coimbatore LTT exp hobnobs at KSR blore with neat 3 hours in entering and exiting like other connect trains . Some malefic planets are ruling SR and SWR.

Even after doubling and electrification the average speed is les than 60 KMPH. Too many stops may be one of the reasons. Stops with poor patronage may be eliminated. Trains passing through Bangalore lose lot of time. By passing Bangalore be considered for long distance trains.

Sleeper generally gets crowded during day time .. better to book 3A than sleeper for comfortable journey

It is a shame 1.so much slack is built in,I wonder why? 2.ideally the journey time should be 18 to 19 hrs. 3. I wonder what is the hitch in introduction of a superfast type train,unknown forces in play?

Previously, railway stations were very filthy with lot of garbages lying here and there. Now the stations appear very clean. Thanks to Modi ji's inspiration of Swatchch Bharat.
