"Why Did He Run?" Family Of BMW Hit-And-Run Victim Wants Accused Hanged. Mihir Shah - the main accused in the Mumbai BMW hit-and-run case - has been arrested, police sources told NDTV Tuesday evening. Shah's mother and two sisters have also been taken into custody. Police believe the mother and sisters helped Shah - the son of politician Rajesh Shah, a member of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena faction - evade arrest for over 72 hours. The cops must now decide if the three women will be made an accused in the case.

Yes if one is not drunk then the law gives bail as such incident is unintentional murder and the person was not able to control the vehicle. In this case as well they will prove that he ran away due to panic and was not drunk as after 3 days there will be no alcohol in his blood. Police planned his arrest purposely after 3 days.
