Work is going on in so many lines but not even a single one is getting completed🥲

The reality is several Metro lines were sabotaged and delayed by corrupt companies like MBZ, Reliance Infra (Anil Ambani) and Simplex. These companies won many contracts for several sections of Metro 2A & 7, Metro 2B, Metro 4, Metro 6 but failed to either complete their portions or failed to even start work (Simplex). Metro 2B had to be completed by other operators after re-tendering was done for the incomplete portions of these crooked contractors - wasting 3 years. The same is the case for portions of Metro 6 and Metro 4 for the sections won by Reliance Infra, Simplex and MBZ - they had to be re-tendered when the companies defaulted or stopped working for months. All these metro projects were needlessly delayed for many years by greedy, corrupt and inefficient contractors. I am not even adding the delay caused by faulty planning, cancellation of environmental permissions for haphazard construction, delays due to accidents and loss of lives while construction of Metro 6 and 4 etc. The mess connected to poor planning by MMRDA for depots for all the metro lines pushed projects by several more years. MMRDA had zero experience of running or managing metro lines. That's why DMRC (Delhi Metro) had to step in to help with several metro lines. The newly set up MMOCL (started over a year back) now handles all the metro projects in Maharashtra. Hopefully they will now learn to coordinate better than the self-congratulating sarkari babus, IAS officers and bureaucrats running MMRDA.

Construction of metro line is not an easy task to execute esp in crowded places! Lines 4 and 6 should open for public by end of 2025! Line 3 within few months!!

What's the 4th line the carshed will house rakes for? There's metro line 4 itself, then 2 extensions, so that's 3?

What's the point of the progress ?? The work on carshed has not been started even after awarding contract. The system and rakes contract is yet to awarded. All this things will take atleast 3-4 years. And after that atleast 1 year for finishing and trials. We won't be getting Metro Line 4, 5 and 6 anytime soon. Maybe 2028-30. The only lines which can open in Mumbai are Line 3 (this year), Line 9 (with reduced frequency by 2026) and Line 2B (1st Phase 2025 end and entire 2B by 2026).

Sir Line 2B 2nd phase according to me will start only by 2027. Lots of work pending.

Bhaisahab! Graduation ke 1st year pe kaam chalu hua tha, graduation ho gya, PG ho gya, mahamari aake chali gyi, pm sahab ka 3 term chalu ho gya par ye metro ka kaam aaj bhi chalu hai. Aur to aur bachi kuchi sadke khod ke rakh di. Ab 2 lane ka service road 1 lane ka ho gya. Lagta hai ab mere grandkids ko he isme travel krne milega. Sahi sarkar hai bhai.

Metro 4 line is like MUMBAI GOA HIGHWAY... THE WORK PROGRESS IS VERY SLOW .. AND THAT TOO IN CHIEF MINISTER'S CONSTITUENCY. REALLY SHAMEFUL... FOR GOVERNMENT AND FOR BUROCRATES. FROM LAST SIX YEARS THE WORK IS GOING ON.. POONA AND NAGPUR METRO ALREADY STARTED..

Ola and uber business will take a hit once metros are complete. So it should be monitored if they are in anyway responsible for delays... Now they just loot from people of Mumbai.
