My timelines for the Missing Link Project 1. February 2025 end: The civil work for the pylons will be completed by the end of February at the earliest. 2. March 2025 end: The girders on the cable-stayed bridge can be installed. I expect steel girders or precast concrete girders will be used. 3. May 2025 end: Concrete pour will be completed on the cable-stayed bridge deck. In-situ slab concrete pouring is the most likely scenario. 4. September 2025 end: Cables of the cable-stayed bridge will be installed. It will be slow progress because of the monsoons. 5. October 2025 end: Load static test of the bridge will be completed. 6. November 2025 end: Electrification of the lights and other items completed. 7. December 2025 end: Dynamic load testing will be completed. 8. January 2026: The bridge can technically be opened to traffic. However, it will take time to complete road barriers, line marking, lighting, signaling, tunnel ventilation, etc. 9. February 2026: Final testing of the entire Missing Link project is completed. 10. March 2026: The Missing Link is finally opened for traffic. Correct me if I am wrong. I will be surprised if these activities go much faster.

Good coverage but misleading timelines. The cable-stayed bridges will not be ready soon. It will take at least a year to complete them and then perform the static and dynamic load testing. Work will completely stop during the monsoon months, starting in June and ending in October. AFCONS is executing the project very well for the cable-stayed bridges. However, you cannot accelerate the completion at all. Look at the Anji Khed cable-stayed bridge and see how long it took to complete it. The Missing Link Cable-Stayed bridges are much bigger in scope. We will be lucky to see the Missing Link project operational by March 2026. Indians tend to thrive on "hope." I see lots of videos telling me that the project is going to "open soon." I am not sure which world these people live in. This is India, and everything takes more time. Either the people producing the video have no idea what it takes to complete these projects, or they do not understand that the productivity in India is so low that everything takes three times longer.
