How do you book the cab from airport to the hotel without a SIM card ? Sometime, the airport wifi requires a local number in order to be activated. We were stuck at the Almaty airport due to the same reason. Had to buy a SIM card at the airport in order to book the cab further.

Jio doesn't even work in many parts of India. We need high speed internet as we have to upload and download stuff so we prefer taking local SIM card.

Would recommend to carry one good jacket and a sunglass. In afternoon you can roam without the jacket but mornings and evenings are cold and windy.
