The Expressway may be fast but its the old NH4 that gives you joy while riding as it weave, rises and falls with the mountain range and landscape instead of just cutting through it. And that asphalt concrete is so much better than the cement concrete of the expressway. Back in the day, I had a best time of 10.35 from Khopoli to the Lonavala exit :D 6:02 Nice to see that you paid respects to Shingroba!

Nikhil you said its a ghat section and said why vehicles come down from upside because it was old highway before expressway and before the police checking at its left it was the route to pune via two lanes road and most of vehicles use to come down by old highway due lack of suicide accident ...mi ek khopolikar By the way speed and jumps u rocked it saw ur video ten times

Hi Nikhil. Love to see your videos. That jump was unexpected na. I am from khopoli but once I too couldn't brake on time there. Since then I am always conscious about that speed breaker. And the ghat nowadays isn't a one way due to the traffic jam that happens on Pune-Mumbai expressway. Vehicles are sometimes diverted from khopoli and connect to expressway at khalapur. Be aware of downcoming vehicles always. And while talking you missed a Vintage Rolls Royce. It's parked inside Ayesha Villa. In this video during 8:52 the villa will be on your left side. So the next time you can show it to your viewers.

the other route will also take u to lonavala and it will cut down on the km u ride ur bike on expressway, but ull be riding on an opposite direction. but its fun and somewhat safe

+Mumbiker Nikhil thats not one way even at 05:08 its a two way road, kept that way for Tata power workers...and i will always prefer soft tar old highway than hard cement express way.. i love old highway, specially between panvel-khopoli. see u can to pune than lavasaaaa ( which will be longer but some how faster as ull be riding most of the time on highway) or u go to lonavala, tiger point, from thr just follow the route to amby vally and then towards lavasa,( most of the road is curves, bad patch but shorter) now the decision is urs :)

Nice !!!! , i always get confused when riding from Mumbai - Lonavala - Pune via Bike via car its pretty straightforward using the express way. my phone is a Galaxy S3 so with GPS + 3G it gets ultra hot like its gonna explode and then it simply shuts down so i have stopped relying on my phone and end up asking people :D :) also there are times the 3G also auto switches to 2G and the phone does not update my current location on Google Map.

it you do take ur bike.. ull be stopped and fined...if ur lucky and if they think ur not from any nearyby place. then they will excort u to nearby exit to khapoli i have taken my bike to expressway and managed to sneakout. its a matter of luck. cause they have toll booth where they can stop u.

u see many bikes on expressway because those are locals and they stay nearby. also u wont see them for long. they stay near khapoli and theynwill exit somewhr arnd khapoli. after lonavala u wont see bikes on expressway

Aarre Nikhil Mujhe samaj nahi aa raha yaar kounsa bike lu. From side Duke 390 nice from from front it looks like imbalaced bike. RC200 looks nice but ridinnd not comfortable plus ABS bhi nahi hai yaar.
