5:55 FYI with the Hopper lag-proofing: Last time I remember you used Furnaces to lag-proof the Hopper lines in your S5 base. IIRC later Xisuma informed you that empty Droppers work better-which is still true. However, since 1.14 we've got a new block: Composters. Composters are even better than Furnaces and Droppers by a considerable margin, and I highly recommend you replace the lag-busting Furnaces with Composters because it's something like a 4x or 6x lag decrease per Hopper!!

Perl's Wordle machine is amazing. It's both simple and the kind of use for all the parts that I wouldn't think of. My brain keeps trying to come up with a way to avoid having to duplicate input, and you could, for example, break the picture frames, but then you don't have the word still there when the result comes back, so it's kind of annoying. And you could do lecterns, of course, but that'd take two letters per page, so you'd need to add a lever or something, and you still wouldn't have a nice word display. Plus, the two return barrels makes it so much easier to indicate out of-place letters. Perl's solution is very elegant with this in mind.

After considerable meditation, I have come to the conclusion that the only thing Mumbo’s base lacks are different shaped buildings. The birds thing I learned from bonsai trees. I heard when shaping the tree, imagine that birds can fly through. It wasn't about the density of leaves, but the shape of it. I learned a lot about bonsai trees and took that straight to minecraft, which improved my custom trees 100x

Thoughts I had while watching the database keypad. There are no labels on the buttons. While it's not impossible to figure out what each button does it's not super user friendly. Solution: Place item frames with renamed buttons in the frames, then shift click place buttons onto face of the frames. When you mouse over the frames it will bring up the tooltip text for the button "0" "1" "2" etc. This lets the buttons be labeled without taking up extra space with signs.

Trying to remember my Uni English grammar classes, this is what I think my Professor would say: Book and Quills - can be both the Minecraft item as plural items, can also be one book and multiple quills. Books and Quills - can be multiple books and quills, probably wouldn't be the Minecraft item as plural (because Book and Quill is technically one named item in the game, adding s to Book would indicate it isn't?). But honestly I think both versions would be okay if there's no nitpickers!

Every time Mumbo uploads I'm so happy to get to watch him geek out over redstone and now also building. And every time I'm sad the episode is over. I would not complain one second of his episodes were twice as long. In fact, I'd love it. Keep doing more stuff and we'll be there for it!

You should make the Impossible Grian Challenge: Setup a room or building that has over 100 buttons in it and say that only 1 of them does something, but never hook it up to anything. So Grian goes in and pushes all the buttons and none of then does anything. When he gets frustrated, go in and "make something happen" and tell him it is all working just fine. Repeat the process over and over until he flies away.

I like that the set of the Big Ron's commercial is a garden-shed. Also, look at all the details (4:08): The floppiediscs on and around Ron, the camera equipment on the table next to Mumbo, the headphones next to the lightswitch and in the box in the centre of the screen, the big boxes to give the shed more of a warehouse vibe, and not to forget the glorious 1st-gen iMac(!), does that still work by the way?

How the actual did Mumbo just this season get so incredibly creative? I mean considering the Ads, the building, the overall makeup of the videos. The whole production is at mssive quality at the moment. It is so puzzeling for me. Whats your secret Mumbo? How do you do this? Is it due to your Hiatus last season or smth? Huuuuge Kudos! Everything is cinematically and also atmospherically (build designs) pleasing.
