Honestly, there's already the clock to indicate when it becomes day. Maybe a sound indicator from the clock could be useful when it switches from day to night (or the opposite) but more birds are surely something they can add. It's Minecraft after all, they can basically add anything we vote for. It's Java language, nothing's limiting the imagination tbh.

Oddly enough, I think that top view is probably my favourite angle, too. The rest of the base could be a mini game. Like a 1 minute sweep kind of game and that’s where you hide all the diamonds. That way you can fill it out with daft contraptions and closing corridors and all of that fun and the hermits still get diamonds back ❤
