I understand where Mumei is coming from. She wants people to value what she does because it is good quality, not just because it came from her as if we were parents that like everything their kids do. The thing is that Mumei's fans are here because they already like what Mumei does, so as long as she builds on what she has done before it's extremely easy to keep liking her work. I hope that Mumei can both accept the validation her fandom gives her, and the fact her work is widely liked outside of it as well.
