Just one melody throughout with continued building accompaniment and compelling storytelling lyrics. Wonderful

This song would've been a great single and deserved a great music video, it's perfect for one. So I'm glad this gets one

Think it's unfortunate that some of the song is cut out. Coming from someone that's listened to this song almost daily for two years, it just doesn't quite suit it. I feel like the cut out content could add so much to it.

agree. the video just does not have the same tension as the song

It was pretty good but the Dust Bowl looked a thousand times worse than that. Fun Fact: The Great Plains area was covered in prairie grass for the herding buffalo. However with the buffalo gone in 1901, settlers know as sodbusters abused the semi fertile land of the Great Plains for wheat harvest. This exploitation lead to top soil being left unrooted as farmers rotated crops. Eventually all this loose soil made the Great Plains start to look like a desert. By 1931, enough soil was loose to create the first duster; a storm made up sand/dust granules 1/8 the size of the period at the end if the sentence. Dusters became common by 1935 in the once Great Plains with a recorded 80 dusters in April of 1936.

The video to this sone in my head is so much stronger. However when you have been kicked off your land by step parents that took everything it’s not surprising really

I love the older M&S their new songs suck when they went away from their rustic bluegrass feel. Someone told me this song was about killing atheists and tyrants

Sorry but this is awful. Even by high school project standards. Terrible acting, camera work and script. Literal garbage. Looks like the only thing redeeming was the quality of the handycam this catastrophe was shot by.
