For those of us waiting.., feel free to leave a note about what you’re waiting for. Me… I’m waiting for family to stop fearing that my children are carriers of death and disease. Personally, I’d rather risk it even if it were true than miss seeing these wonderful people grow up. God help me, I pray…And I will wait.. only because I’ve been blessed with a big heart. But it breaks a bit as weeks, months and now years have gone by. This isn’t how it’s supposed to be.

This song is so incredible as well as undervalued. I live in the South of Turkiye and- LITERALLY- to EVERY ONE of my Muslim friends and neighbours that I play this for, they start dancing in that unique way they have (basically, a little two-step with arms outstretched and snapping their fingers in beat with the music, OR, they grab napkins in both hands and twirl them about while doing their little two-step). This is Turkish friends and neighbours that encompasses little children, to men that I KNOW are connected to the Turkish Mafia, to older women that still insist on wearing hijab, to their more liberal husbands. Literally EVERYONE. I am not being hyperbolic when I say that this song is loved by all who hear it here. It transcends everything, it seems. Can there BE any greater compliment to art that that? Thank you for giving us this majestic, inspiring work, Mumford & Sons. From a fan in Antalya, Turkiye. :-)
