Only a comic, but I've been on the wrong end of the results. It hurts. It hurts bad. But from your worst feeling comes your best. You'll rebound, learn and be back where you belong before you know it and you will look at this horrible feeling as the reason why the good that came after happened. Love how they serenaded the neighborhood. They are Champs despite the results! It’s tough. I was in a band that came in dead last, 22nd out of 22 because we were disqualified.

Incredible job on this whole series Captain! The integrity and intensity of the Ferko band is extremely admirable. My heartbreaks for them not getting the score they deserved and expected. Great job Ferko!

Great documentary captain, thanks for mentioning it in your earlier video. It brings back memories of my mom who i lost 6 yrs ago who loved watching the mummers. She never missed a parade and if she was still with us i would have shown her these videos so she could see what goes into the bands preparing for the parade. To the ferko string band you did an awesome job and got robbed. KICK THERE ASS'S THIS YEAR AND SHOW THEM HOW IT'S DONE/

"Next year" ... are you one of Joe's Boy's now, Captain? I told you that you'd end up on Broad St. again sometime! I'm in another River Wards string band club, but I've always recognized Ferko for their discipline and class. You picked a good organization to shine a positive light on Philadelphia string band culture and mummery in general.

I'm an all time Ferko fan despite growing up with another band! Love the banjos! You guys were ripped off big time! Music was on point. Love the theme & it's exactly what the people want. Love the plumes on backpieces! Judges were very wrong! Keep up the GREAT work Ferko. Thankful the tradition continues! :)
