Hii Sam ❤ my aunt faced the same problem which you are going through now. I will suggest you to buy a new soft slipper which is very helpful while moving in house or doing household work. Keep it aside in a place and use it only in house. WEAR FUR FLIP-FLOPS. They can be kept just outside the Ganpati pandaal area to keep them super clean and 'sucha'. They are almost like a cloth chappal, like you are wearing a socks kind of thing. You can take them to kitchen also but don't take them to washroom or outside for cleanliness. Hope it helps.
