In the first game I would have killed the Infectious Sporeling with my own minion so that I could have one on my side. You saw anemy having at least two beefy boys in their hand so it would have been free removal that way or forced the enemy to do suboptimal play.

I just want to say, given the overview of the whole draft, this would have been an INSANE TOKEN DRUID deck, premium low cost minions, multiple power of the Wilds and other wide board buffs, and topped off with a Voracious Reader. Unfortunately, Trump was zeroed in on making a Midrange deck, so he didn't choose any of those Token Druid picks. The picks offered were almost identical to the Token Druid lists that you see in Standard, so in Arena the draft would have been nuts, but of course variance and 20/20 hindsight and all that.

Sure bro... I guess you are 4 avg. I know it's dualclass and arena players these days suck but token druid wasn't a thing at arena since years besides RoS where indeed it was very strong. I don't believe you have both odds to force it and super favorable meta. Just don't. In most cases going for token type of deck means you really suck ass. Best druid arena archetype in terms of standard nomenclature was usually big druid but meta had to be somewhat favorable for it or you had to be very good. Token was almost always at the very bottom.

It's Lightforge with some extension but it's trash. Or maybe nowadays arena players are just insane trash. Or most possibly both. 58.1 Flighmaster on that scale is grossest thing I have seen in a while. It had been bottom tier 3-drop for ages, very slightly worse than Grizzly and never picked by good players if they weren't forced by curve. Some other stuff is also quite a bit off. Frankly speaking I would rather prefer to not have companion at all than that one.

It has always been bad arena meta so don't worry. Best arena players tend to dodge it and switch to standard while it was active. Scoring poorly in dual class in comparison to your normal scores usually mean you are very good though I have to say 3 is low.

@@DonFreeq I took a break from hs for a couple of months so maybe I got rusty. I got back just like a month ago. I used to be decent at arena but right now I just cant get the hang of it. Had a deck with double Swipe, double Consec and double 5 mana equality that went 3 wins. Get good early game then I get outvalued, get good late game then I get wrecked early. Maybe I should just an app to help me pick cards although Im not a fan, one of them doesnt work and I dont like the other.

@@hermiona1147 Rustyness is always some factor but shouldn't took long till you get in shape. As for arena overall it sucks since a year when major really poor changes were introduced and huge majority of top players left. I was addicted to arena till than but i retired as well shorty after, nowadays playing occasionally just for fun. From a possibly top 50 player of all time experience with lifetime avg. 8.4 I can say with clear concience that getting to infinity is much, much harder these days. Especially in dual class where infinity club never bothered to play that event cuz of too much rng and variance. At dual class you just lose gold for fun and unique playstyle experience. And if you want tryharding you pass the event. As for companion I strongly advice HA. There is even no comparison to LF but if you having issues with HA having LF is obviously better than not having anything. If you are really good with lifetime 6+ you probably can skip comp. but otherwise I would really badly advice using one. Difference on using HA and not using any comp. is for players around 4 avg. straight up +1. I personally agree on HA picks in most cases at least 25 times per draft, most often 26-28. Only exception where I go heavily south from HA is when I realize having very low dp score. Extreme cases require drastic measures. With lightforge I will pick half the time differently. As for being outvalued you should be doing sth wrong. Best arena players never run out of value as it's easiest way to lose. Infinite players tend to make their decks to be able sustain till fatigue if needed. Better you are less early game you need in general and while cutting on early you getting resources and lategame advantage which with better skills very often is autowin. I had some 12 win runs with so little like 4-5 cards below 4 mana. That's extreme but you can still pull it off. However playing from behind is probably most advanced arena skill so better to have early ^^ Of course too much early hurts badly. Many infinite players still have issue with pfb which is clearly showed in 1-st vs 2-nd stat where huge majority of players have always considerably lower WR going 2-nd, most often around 8-10% but trending higher with low averages. Even such brands as Kripp or Trump have that problem. However absolute top players have same or even higher WR going 2-nd which basically means playing from behind you still learning after you have hit 7.0 avg. You can check your own ratio - if you have values on similar lvl it's very likely that with some training you will quickly become marvelous player. If you have no more than 8-10% it's totally fine you just climbing. But if you have 12% and more you simply have bad mindset and you have to make a shift. I'm sure you know the rule but face is never the place. You go face only if there is no acceptable trades or value situation forces you to. Whenever you pick face over trades you lose both tempo and value. Getting face dmg is outcome of your superior board presence not goal on it's own.

Well hero power is definitely the best but there is a trick picking DH. You get less class cards and class cards are better than neutral. In dual-class penalty is somewhat waived but still on avg. you will get less class cards than any class combination that doesn't involve DH. Taking DH might be mainly due to that fact. When dual class ends you will have to pay again high price for obtaining best hero power.
