Mums Samp & beans with lamb

A traditional South African dish that I grew up eating and it can be cooked with or without meat.
Samp: A modified maize /corn which can bought from numerous shops (in London).
Ingredients : 2 cups of samp , 1 and a 1/2 cups of sugar beans (rose coco beans), 2 onions, 4 green chillies, thyme, salt, 3 cubes of lamb stock, 1kg lamb, 1/2 can of tomatoes, 1/2 tsp of tumeric, 3 tsps of masala, 1 tsp of chilli powder, 2 tbsp of rapeseed oil and 1 sprig of curry leaf.
Cooking time 6-8 hours
Note you can use lamb, mutton , bones , beef or no meat at all .

I'm confused 🤔🤔🤔.. you didn't pre boil that meat 🍖 you just threw it in there for 10/15 minutes...

Hi my dear , after putting the meat in I let it cook for 15 mins and then added the curry sauce and if you watch the part when I add the chutney / curry sauce I said let it cook for about an 1 hour or more until it’s cooked . This is how I cook it , some people boil the meat with Samp and beans and some don’t.

Samp and beans is traditional AFRICAN meal (not mixed race, etc), just like curry is traditional INDIAN. Let's give Africa it's dues. Different races cook different variations but it will always a PURE AFRICAN origin dish
