If I want my petals thicker do I just continue by making another chain with the petal or would I have to change my count for the base

Hi! So if you want the petals thicker, rather than doing ch 2, 1 dc, picot, do ch 2, 2 dc into the same stitch, picot, 2 dc into the next st and then ch 2 and sl st. Hope this helps :)
