I'm 24 and I first saw this movie like 4-6 years ago and I still have the same opinion, I can understand her getting mad because he didn't tell her right away but lying and not telling somebody something are two different things, Lisa was a COMPLETE psycho, it wasn't Derek's fault she kept tryna seduce him, the main thing I ALWAYS bring up is that Derek rejected Lisa each time so he didn't even cheat on Sharon🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

@@phillyeaglesforlife5127 Its still hurtful. Lisa drugged herself, nearly died in Derek's room and he didn't tell Sharon anything. Derek didn't tell Sharon about all the times Lisa kept hitting on him & didn't mention the Christmas party either. Derek withheld a lot of info from Sharon and that's signs of a potential liar, in my opinion. If you keep multiple things from me & I later find out from OTHER people, then that's telling me that you're gonna start lying to me to protect yourself from getting caught doing particular things. Derek should've told Sharon everything, that's what she said they vowed to do on their wedding day.

If you watched the movie she clearly asked him what happened at the Christmas party the same night Lisa was trying to come on to him and have sex with him and he literally told her nothing happened! He wasn’t honest and choose to keep all that from his wife especially after she asked him straight up you don’t keep secrets/stuff like that from your spouse. From the time things started to get crazy he should have been mentioned all this to her! Not wait till things get bad and someone ends up in the hospital 🙄. So YES he did lie because she asked him what happened at the Christmas party anything special happened? And he said no nothing happened everything was good.
