I find it bonkers that the Makarov PM(M, according to Goobi) despite using the weaker 9x18 Makarov cartridge, roughly has the same damage value as the .50 Cal AR-15 and being stronger than other semi-auto pistols (save for the Deagle and revolvers).

Pretty sure they fixed the A1. From my knowledge it was due to the power in the ammo rather then the gun itself along with them not training soilders to clean the rifle and not issueing soilders cleaning kits

@@maxischew514 There were actual issues with the A1 from a design standpoint however. The charging handle of the A1 didn't act as a brass deflector, quality control was lax. The A2 was a huge stepup in that regard.

The Benelli M4, the military variant which I'm pretty sure the operator would be using, is correct in having 7+1 shells. the 4+1 Benelli m4 that you would be thinking of is the civillian model. Also the SPAS-12 I understand that it can switch to pump, there would be no point of doing unless it was firing less lethal rounds, due to the force required to actually cycle a shell only being available in semi auto. In a game of shoot-to-kill I don't think it only having semi being a mistake, rather a situation of "why would you add the other firemode if it doesn't actually make sense."

Her being Russian she's probably used to using other Kalashnikov Firearms (such as most the AK Variants, the PP-19 or even the "Classic" Saiga 12) which aren't ambidextrous. therefore she might just out of habit use the "classic" right side of the gun to pull the charging handle. But yes, it would make more sense for her to just use the left side if it's already ambidextrous

You might never know what real life gunsmiths come up with knowing that they can convert a glock and M1911 to .50 GI 3. Couldn't agree more with that, but there are SMGs that has a barrel length of more than 10in firing its usual caliber and it still be called as an "SMG", so calling a weapon with a 10.4 inch barrel length and fires intermediate cartridge an "SMG" is just nonsense. If the K1's barrel had been less than 10in from the get-go, it could still be make sense since it's automatically classifies as a PDW, joining alongside with other SMGs and sub-compact carbines within that category.

You know a lot of these "sins" can be attributed to reasonable design choices, copyright limitations, and custom weapon modifications. Things like duct tape on a mag is for ease of animation, differently named weapons is because sometimes game companies cant get the rights to use the actual weapon names (its the same in cod), and things like a shorter barrel, iron sights on a weapon they arent normally on, or a fire selection that isnt normally there can be reasonably associated with the fact that the operators probably modified their weapons to suit their preferences

There's this old russian revolver, the Nagant 1895 that can use one effectively, by shifting the position of the cylinder before shooting 3:57 To be fair, if the operators are just trained and used to operating "normal" aks they may just reload like that because of muscle memory/habit 7:00 There's also a glitch for the full reload. If you drop the mag out after it's empty but switch to the masterkey, the mag will automatically spawn again (because "you can't use the masterkey without a mag as a grip"). If you switch back, it will be dropped again, but you can switch back to masterkey. 12:06 the C8 carbine uses a M4 profile barrel it needs to be able to fit a M203. 3:45 the Remington 870 is in the Serbu firearms "super shorty" configuration used mainly in movies and video games it was created to be the shortest possible functioning Remington 870. its a real gun in a realistic configuration IMO. the operators using AR pattern rifles using the charging handle instead of the bolt release is not entirely wrong. the Canadian army up until 2 years ago trained with using both the bolt release or the charging handle after a empty reload.

The Super Shorty can either be based on R870 or Mossberg 500 (in-game weapon shows the R870), and operators using charging handle over bolt release is just personal preference imo.

the gun on 3:45 is not serbu gun though. remington offers their 870 MCS in "Breacher" configuration, Ubi simply slapped the name of a distantly related shotgun. But it apparently is supposed to be used not only as a Masterkey, but as a standalone shotgun as well, so there is that.

@@ToriusHeart yet, we never see a regular Masterkey R870 as a standalone shotgun like an M26 MASS or a Six12, so closest we get is the Serbu Super Shorty. After all, the latter was never meant to be used in underbarrel configuration, just as the game depicted. Edit: turns out there is a Masterkey in standalone configuration, but it basically uses some sort of standalone steel stock kit rather than retaining the overall design of the shotgun unlike the Serbu Super Shorty which just simply replace the rear part of the gun with a pistol grip and slap a picatinny rail at the top, so my point still stands

Something I’m not sure if they fixed or not on the M4 I hate is that if you sprint mid reload even after pulling back the charging handle, it will slide back into place without actually chambering a round. Even if you wanted to say “well the round wasn’t seated properly” the M4 has a button called the forward assist which could have been a cool detail for that.

The MP7 stock iron sight in the game is also a variant I've never seen in real life. My service weapon was the MP7 A1, with the rear peephole being wayyy smaller than what's shown in game. Game size looks to be almost 10 mm in diameter, while the real has like 1-2 mm ish. Also it doesn't look like the operator's animation include pressing the magazine ejection button during reload. In real life this button is placed so awkwardly near the trigger guard that you would be able to see if their fingers moved to put leverage on it.

@@novusordocitrorum772 Norway uses both HK416 and MP7 in their units. Kinda depends on what battalion you are in. For example, Medic Battalion in the North Brigade gets MP7 as well as other units like mine (guarding and security) and many other with service in tight vehicles. MP7 is especially good in guard dooty - The short muzzle length (180 mm) lets you peek tight corridors and stay behind cover for longer without exposing the tip of your weapon. A drawback is the reduced stopping power of the bullet which can be heavily affected by the wind (learnt from experience)

You forgot to mention that the 5.7, when reloaded in game, the operator uses the slide release, not the mag release Edit: theres a few other things too, so ill list those off as well 1: Operator does not press slide release on the MK1 9mm 2: BOSG.12.2 ejects only one shell on a tactical reload??? 3: Operator does not pull back the charging handle enough on AA-12 Full reload 4: UMP-45 Charging Handle incorrectly locks back 5: Stock from Mini UZI, micro never had a stock 6: P90 Duct tape is there probably to help grip the magazine or something (but we all know its bc ubi is lazy) 7: 556xi is not accurate, the Bolt release is incorrect. Any sub-compact carbines that are developed during the Cold War (like the K1, AKS-74u and CAR-15 Model 607) was considered as an SMG just to emphasize their short length. I do agree with you, it's just nonsense in general, but i respect whichever the Korean military calls it anyway...

Delta stopped using the 1911 back in the early 2000s when they switched to Glock 22s. Not sure if the FBI HRT still uses 1911s, but it should be the Springfield Armory Custom Professional model, not the M45.

Zofia’s lmg does technically exist, from what I saw it is an upper receiver kit which you swap from your standard style AR uppers. I do not believe there is a standalone firearm. Also there is not need to use bolt release if you are going to pull charging handle (slower to use the charging handle so idk they do it anyway but oh well)

The Canadian C1A1 looked more like the British L1A1 SLR inch pattern FAL. than the one In game. No pick rails or plastics stocks. its also had a striper clip port so you can top off yore mags with 5, or 10 round clips. It was one of the last steel and wood rifles.

The Super Shorty is most likely modeled after the Serbu super shorty which is based on the Mossberg Maverick 88 which Mark Serbu wanted to make a short shotgun without paying the $200 tax stamp so its classified as a AOW

It starts is generally the correct place (mind the ejection port is shorter and taller in game than irl) but the rail should finish before the first two holes closest to the gas parts. Also, the rifle being an A2, being the post-2000 HK upgrade, it should fire perfectly fine as depicted.

12:42 they were properly trying to poetry the IA 2 that is a rifled developed in Brazil to substitute the FAL that they were using. Exist in both 5.56 and 7.61x51 as the police officers started complaining about not basing able to properly shoot trough walls. The one in the game does appear to be a dsa as it is mostly made of metal and the IA2 is mostly made out of polymer.

Funny how you pointed about Jackal’s 9mm AR-15 having an ambi charging handle when any AR type gun can have it. Isn’t this a video about how every mistake on a gun makes it a sin? What’s wrong with having an ambi charging handle? My airsoft licenced BCM 11.5 MCMR rifle has it, why not on a 9mm AR?

The K1A is classified as an SMG because both Daewoo and the South Korean Military class it as one, even if it doesn't fit the general classification of an SMG (rifle caliber instead of pistol)
