I wish my Grandmother Linneman had taught us German. Both my Father's and Mother's families were from Oldenburg and came to the USA in the 1860's. We have a good 'craft' brewery here in Downingtown, PA called 'Victory'. Ailene has a very pleasant face but she could probably drink me under the table!

These southerners have a strong accent caused by the dialect they speak in everyday life. The host on the otherside doesn't have an accent and speaks in clear high-german (the dialect luther translated the bible into, which is used by all germans as a second language to communicate across dialects). The bavarians are also using high-german in this one, but due to their living conditions probably speak it a lot less, hence the strong accent (while e.g. the bavarian young brewers speak again without an accent, as the younger generation speaks nowadays usually more high-german and only speaks dialect in the family-setting.

I wish they had a better presenter for this. I love Bavaria. When they covered the Basque country, for example, they had a wonderful presenter, who was very sentimental and emotionally connected to the food and culture, even though she was from Barcelona. This is just awkward.

Raffe ich nicht warum viele Craftbeerpanscher einen Prozess der über lange Zeit perfektioniert wurde meinen komplett anders machen zu müssen. Alles Craftbeer was ich bis jetzt getrunken habe war teuer schal und kommplett wiederlich. Ich gelob mir die traditionelle braukultur. Awesomeness Level wenn ich sowas schon höre.
