MUNCHIES Guide to Bohemia: Drinking Like a Bohemian

This episode is all about Bohemian drinking culture. First, we visit a family-run distillery, where the nation’s favorite spirit, Slivovice, is produced. After sampling a few too many of these, Hannah is eager to learn more about Czech drunk food. She visits “Maso a Kobliha” for a donut and a lesson in sausage making. At the end of the night, Hannah visits “The Tavern,” where American expat Dean has playfully combined traditional burgers with Czech ingredients.

I'm Czech and of course I drink beer every day, as does everyone in my family. Even grandma! Not so much a fan of slivovice. Next time I'm in Prague, I'm definitely going to that burger spot! Clearly the food scene has drastically improved since I last lived there.
