In America,the fruit roll ups are a lot smaller so they are easier to eat! They come in lots of different flavors too and they are really good!

Just for future videos, and past if it hasn't been told yet. Most, not all, but most Japanese candy that are blue or white tend to be Ramune flavored. Ramune pronounced as (ra-moo-nay) is a very popular Japanese soda. It has a sort of bubblegum flavor as a lot of people say. It comes traditional(but can be found in bigger screw containers.), but traditional found in a glass that you push a marble down into to, to open it. So if you ever are testing a japanese candy that is white or blue, it will likely be Ramune flavored.

Hi Tam. I don't know if anyone has said this, but I think the little toy in your whistle candy was an ink stamp. You put ink on the picture side and stamp the image onto paper.

I eat Hello Pandas all the time, they are delicious! I like your t-shirt. This fruit roll-up reminded me of the American fruit roll-ups from the 80's. Now they have weird colors and shapes. You'd like it better if you were a kid (not saying anything about your age, I'm kind of in your age range), but they were lots of fun to play with and eat back in the day.

Lisa M They were a lot better back in the day. Sweet, but not as artificial.I remember them actually having fruit in them and can remember the bumpy texture of strawberry seeds. These were maybe 2% fruit and I'm betting mostly through condensed juices (ie sugar) and corn syrup solids. I bought a package to have something in the car in case of a diabetic emergency for a friend as we were driving long distance. Half way through we decided to have one a piece as we had not eaten much. i pretty much yanked it out of Jamie's hand and threw it out the window. It was not as we remembered. That said, the Kosher ones at Jewish holidays that Stop and Shop stocks are really good as are the ones that Whole Foods occasionally carry.

as a lot of '90's kids say, "you haven't had a childhood until you've made a hannibal lecter mask out of a fruit roll-up" some of them have objects that you can peel off and play with, like animals, cars, food, etc. it was used as a preservation method. like fruit jerky. honestly they WOULDN'T be ketchup chips unless it looked like the opening scene of a Law & Order episode.

The trick with the fruit roll up is to bend it arrond a small tooth pick till you form a small lollipop or if you are unlucky on it, lick it from the paper or doing what you did. (In mexico we have that, we call it "cachetada" but is more thiner and... well let's just say i can only lick it as i am not the most agile person in the world)

A surprise box of sweets by mail order certainly is a nice idea, and maybe I will subscribe to MunchPak, too. But I must say, for a "world wide" assortment of goodies, there were too many US-American products in it, especially since MunchPak is an American company. They should offer more international variety. I googled the Gazillion thing, and apparently, the funny address "1 Foreign Candy Road" is located in Hull, Iowa.
