The Kashmiri BUTTER MILK | GURUS MANDUN

churning of milk to obtain Ghee is called Gurus Mandun in Kashmiri. Gurus is the by product of this churning process which is done on milk stored for 4-5 days .
To show you the process of this Churning of Milk we reached Kunzabji location of RingaZabal Khansahab Budgam .
where we met Muneera a Nomadic Sarpanch who spoke to us and showed us the process of churning the milk.
This Butter milk is healthy drink during summers as it helps one in digestion and maintaining body temperature.

@Gujjar Ladka bro earlier we Kashmiri used to do that. I am a Kashmiri myself. My grandmother used to make it in our childhood.So we use that phrase in our language. Bro this is also done by Punjabis, we call it madhani. The famous song on it.
