Well it was supposed to be a bit sad, this is one of my the most favourite League songs. If you pay attention to lirics and you are struggling mentally in your life like I did it really helps to overcome whatever u are struggling with. It presents what was supposed to be 3 of best midlaners in the world in 2019 and their past failures(being represented as those shadows/demons/negative thoughts in their head) 1st is Rookie(the guy in train) a chinese midlaner that in 2015 didnt even manage to get out of groups with his Lissandra pick ..but managed to win Worlds in 2018 2nd is our European boy Caps from G2 esports that made the Finals in 2018 and actually lost to Rookie like 2 games in a row on his Irelia pick (the jumping girl with flying swords) and got flamed by all the media since all Europe were hyped up for winning another Worlds Title since Season1 3rd and last is SKT T1 Faker ( guy at the conference press) also failing to win the Worlds Finals in 2017 on his Karma Pick vs Samsung Galaxy . The RISE video that you guys reacted too earlier in the week took a different approach showing Samsung Galaxy Jungler Ambition(the guy at the start taking the claws/flail/spear) as weapons and climbing to the top aka Worlds Finals and defeating Faker (Faker at that point had 3 stars encrested on his jacket since he was a triple world champion winning in Season3/Season5/Season6)

A little correction, Rookie is Korean but he has been playing in China for a very long time and has a Chinise citizenship at this point.

Worlds themes like this one, are to promote the League of Legends Championship (think NFL playoffs/Superbowl). They usually feature some of the top League players and they usually pair them with champion they are popular for playing. In this video it's G2 Esports mid laner Rasmus “Caps” Winther (plays Irelia) and SK Telecom T1 legend Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok (Faker is like Michael Jordan/Lebran James/etc all rolled into one. Also nicknamed the Unkillable Demon King)(plays Karma) not sure who the third player is (plays Lissandra). These Worlds videos also feature the venue location like Paris, London, Staples Center, etc. In 2019, it was Verti Music Hall in Berlin Germany, Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid Spain and the finals in the AccorHotels Arena in Paris France. The building in the final shot is the AccorHotels Arena. Also, get used to seeing Faker, he's been featured it almost every single Worlds song. He's that fucking famous. LoL is a 5 vs 5 online multiplayer game. There are 2 teams with 5 players each and roughly 200 characters to choose from. Each person picks a character then the game loads on to the map. It's a 5v5 match with the objective being to destroy the enemy teams base before they destroy yours.

You mention they feauture their champions. But in fact none of the featured players won the championship that year. They try to make a guess on which players will be more relevant in the upcoming "world cup". This is Caps 1:56 They put him there as his team (G2 from Europe) Won that year's only other international tournament (Mid Season Invitational / MSI) But they also feature 1:39 Rookie (Team "Invictus Gaming" from China) And the so called GOAT of League of Legends, 3 times world champion 3:06 Faker (Team T1 from Korea) One interesting fact is that ever since 2013 when Faker started playing in the international stage he has ALWAYS appeared in every Worlds Championship Song video affirming that in fact he is always among the better players.
