This is true. Luckily for us Hampshire Regency Dancers have plenty of men but we normally dance 'Mungo' with just ladies because it is such a delicate dance. I discuss this dance in my article in the next issue of Jane Austen Society of North America newslatter.

It is a pity, but I have five sons who all do English Country Dancing, and we just got our drama club hooked on it, which makes about 6 more young men. :-)
