As a black woman with autism that just figured it out last year. A lot of people don’t believe I have delayed processing because I appear “normal”. Black people don’t get diagnosed. The level of girls/women who are misdiagnosed or not diagnosed, at all, is unbelievable. Thank you for sharing!

I'm autistic with ADHD as well and I learned that I was at 34 (I'm 36 now) after my oldest daughter was diagnosed. It is great this is something that we are now talking about in the community. Muni is a wonderful artist and beautiful singer.

We are so misunderstood and quickly thrown into a box. My Mother has a degree in Psychology and worked in Mental Health when I was growing up so I was never allowed to have a diagnosis and that made me have to figure my own way as a neurodivergent. I was called the "weird Black kid" or the "white Black kid", the one who was too White for the Black kids and too Black for the White kids
