In her case, when she became successful, everyone wanted credit in helping her succeed but when she was struggling, she was on her own.

I saw Tank years ago in a line waiting to go inside a club in New Orleans. He looked excited just to be around people and literally stood in the line talking when I’m sure he could have pulled some strings for the club to let him in. I’ll never forget that!

While I watched it I just took it as her being more naturally reserved and also protective of her energies based on her particular life experiences. J and Tank, of course, have had their experiences as well. But, since this podcast began, I sense with them a more naturally open and playful, or chill vibe.....no matter who comes on to speak with them.

I can understand why she keeps her guard up.... she's very humble.. shes sincere, shes not pretentious. she takes pride in what she does to the fullest and what i got from this interview is that she gives her all but people have taken advantage of her kindness and have used her. I can vouch that Tank is actually a cool cat, especially with regular people. When my sister first started doing videos, Tank treated her like family. He showed her love on the Lil Zane video set in 2003-2004 and even when he saw her at the club later on that week. He treated her with importance. He went out of his way. He was cool when he was in his prime... that type of treatment is few and far in between in Hollyhood 💪🏾 ❤️

I do wish she would’ve touched more on her Lupus health condition because a lot of people deal with that known & unknown, & also she’s gotten a lot of flack for her first BET performance when people didn’t understand she had been sick & having Lupus takes a major toll on peoples bodies. I did also wanna hear her experience writing those big hits she just danced over lol. Nonetheless great interview!
