Hi Michelle!! Oh boy!! Did the Taylor Swift concert footage bring back memories of concerts past for me!!! It's been years since I've attempted to go to a live concert but back in the day my friends and I got to see some great bands and performers. Highlights: Paul McCartney, Elton John and Billy Joel, Loreena Mckennitt (multiple times), the Osmonds (my teenage years ... also multiple concerts) and ABBA!! I know some of Taylor's music (the hits) and I think that she's an amazing talent and an admirable young woman. I can fully relate to the emotional release that you got from the concert and have experienced that a few times as well. I'd have loved to have been able to travel further into Europe as well and Germany would have been a highlight. I remember during one of my trips to England I had to buy another travel bag because I'd bought so many books!!! This was before the airlines dinged you for every ounce that you carried onboard their planes. And I'd buy all those colourful booklets at every grand manor, castle, cathedral, town, tower, garden, city, etc that I went to ... and many others that I didn't but wanted to. Sigh!! Memories. I love the books that you bought and can't wait to hear what you think of The Women. I am tempted to try some of Lucy Stroud's books since they all sound so interesting. I've read Becky Chambers books and love them so much. Cozy Sci-fi. Wonderful characters. This was grand fun Michelle!!! Enjoy the rest of your holidays!!! Cheers!!!

Oh Judy you saw some AMAZING live music!!! 🥹🥹🥹 live music just hits something special in the soul doesn’t it ❤️ Oh I love getting all of the guide books at the national trust type places! (I used to work at a Manor House so knew the guide book off by heart 😂). Would you like to travel more in the future? I didn’t know that Becky Chambers is cosy sci-fi! I actually got two more of her books at 66books on Sunday… so I hope I’ll like her writing 🥰 I also got another Kristin Hannah book (The Four Winds), so I have lots to keep me going! Hope that you’re well and that the weather is good for you at the moment x

@@MichelleReadsandVlogs Wait 'till you read the various reviews on Goodreads about The Four Winds Michelle!!!! OMG!! All the comments about K. Hannah "glorifying" communism!!! It's hilarious ... and a bit frightening. I would in theory love to travel more but it's so expensiive and I haven't flown since 9/11 so there's all the stuff that's changed since then. There are all sorts of places I'd love to go to but I confess, if I was spending money to travel I would go where I left my heart ... England! I can't explain but when I made my first trip at 18 it felt so ... right!! It's been 34 years since my last trip there but I'd return in a heartbeat. So much I'd love to see .. and return to see again. Sigh. Maybe someday ...

That’s a great question. If money wasn’t an issue I would love to visit New York, but realistically it will be somewhere closer to home, London, Edinburgh, or Paris. What about you Jo? Where would you love to visit? X
