I guess you meant to type Nighat Sultana and not Night Sultana . . . Your comment has set off a train of thought in my mind quite unexpectedly . . . A few years back, 2018 I believe, I had noticed a series of poems written by Munir Niazi in his First Collection of Poems published in 1959 . . . These poems, which Munir Niazi wrote in the early to mid-nineteen fifties are about a woman he calls Nighat . . . Your comment has led me to believe that Nighat Sultana may possibly have been the woman he mentions in several of his Urdu poems from the 1950s . . . She did star in Susraal and Munir's beautiful song Jaa apnee hasraton was picturized on her . . .
